Join us for the 2019 Research Forum on Ageing – Diversity and Innovation: applied research and policy on Ageing, hosted by the University of Western Australia and supported by the ARC Ageing and New Media Project, Fortis Consulting Partners in Culturally Appropriate Care WA, MYVISTA - Retirement and Aged Care Living, the UWA Institute of Advanced Studies and the UWA Public Policy Institute.
This one-day conference brings together researchers, policy experts, service providers and others working in the field of ageing – with a special focus on innovation and diversity.
Four panel discussions and talks by speakers from a range of sectors will take place throughout, with the event concluding with the official launch of the UWA Social Care and Social Ageing Living Lab.

Morning Tea featuring Purple Road Installation
Panel 2 (am session) - Dementia workshop: an opportunity to have a say in the National policy on Dementia
Panel 3 (pm session) – Community Initiative highlights: featuring local and regional projects in W.A.
Panel 4 (pm session) – UWA Living Lab SPARK workshop: an opportunity to co-design social care technology
Panel sessions will be followed by the official launch of the UWA Social Care and Social Ageing Living Lab, the first Living Lab in Western Australia.
