Breaking down barriers to university for students
Alumni and friends have supported over 800 disadvantaged high school students on their journey to university through alternative access program Fairway UWA.
Scholarships empower students to make a difference
The UWA alumni community has changed the lives of over 320 students since the Alumni Fund Scholarships program began. And we are grateful for the continued commitment of the UWA community to support the brightest and best students achieve their dreams of a university education.
Promoting student connectedness, fostering a rich and active community
2020's global pandemic disrupted the way students all over the globe learn and connect outside of the classroom. The UWA Alumni Fund Student Activate! grants were created to support projects that re-connected the students with their community and re-activated the student experience.
Promoting student well-being and support
Believed to be the first initiative of its kind on an Australian campus, The Living Room was launched in late 2020 to respond to the growing mental health problems amongst our students in order to increase well-being as well as providing direct access to the UWA support network for those in need.
