Explore international culture

I always enjoy interaction with the global community.  I appreciate every opportunity to explore international cultural phenomena and bring people from different backgrounds together. I believe a healthy and supportive bilateral and multilateral relationship makes a great impact on a better and more sustainable future.

Meanwhile, I'm eager to help businesses understand the beauty of digitalization and feel comfortable with changing.

My ambition is to help international businesses to prosper and grow in China with digital and innovative strategies.

Creating connections

Supporting a dynamic network of international businesses with a common interest in China provides me with great opportunities to explore different perspectives and expand my horizons on both professional and personal levels. My responsibility is to deliver value to our members through the advocacy of policies and industries; timely knowledge sharing and insights; as well as community-based activities. I have access to unlimited information to educate myself and understand what our contributions are to be to the people we support. I meet many people with great business ideas and business leaders who are awesome to work with and grateful for the information and connection we provide.

UWA played a critical role

Two places aligned with UWA played a critical role in helping me achieve my professional and personal development.

Firstly, St Catherine's College, with a multicultural community shaped my global mindset to build strong intercultural relationships. I'm able to view the world from various perspectives. St. Cats has not just been my home in Australia but has also has brought me lifelong friendships.

Secondly, Bloom, the centre of Youth Innovation in UWA. I was in the 2018 Bloom Launchpad cohort. This hands-on program not only allowed me to work on my own business idea in a foreign country but also empowered me to pursue a multinational career path.

Having an international education

UWA has assisted me with soft skills, such as learning new skills, managing my time, staying accountable, building networks, etc. And I believe that having an international education opened a door for me to pursue an international career path.

After completing several practical units at UWA, I also acquired a great opportunity to work for a Perth Agritech startup, providing digital content creation services. This allowed me to become proficient at working in a diverse team as well as working with low supervision independently.
