How do we get our information?

I am a passionate digital marketer and PR professional. One of my greatest joys in life is to discover unique and riveting ways to deliver value to people's lives while maintaining the balance of a proactive relationship. If you must know, I am almost always positive.

I also have a genuine desire to study people - how do we get our information, and how do we make decisions about our lives that would make a positive impact on the society and world we live in.

Digital experimentation and personalization

As a PR and Digital advocate, I have handled a mix of digital marketing and public relations accounts from enterprise technology to consumer brands. The good mix of PR and digital marketing capabilities enables me to help brands easily evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints while at the same time allowing them to optimize their business results through digital experimentation and personalization.

Simply put, I act as a bridge between the communications and marketing departments. As we go through the collaborative process, ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part.

I will never forget my UWA experience

I will never forget my UWA experience. As an international student, learning to understand a new culture and environment was something that I was keen to absorb. It was here that my academic and personal development skyrocketed. Right from the start, UWA has been welcoming. From an introduction event to assigning us into smaller groups where a senior who was in our same shoes before helped share many helpful tips on being in Australia. It was also incredibly helpful that across the course of the curriculum, there were many opportunities to learn subjects that I was interested in. Communications, Marketing, Anthropology and Sociology were my chosen subjects.

How has your UWA degree helped you in the work you do now?

In addition to just studying the course in theory, UWA also has options where you can take an internship/practicum outside of school. This is definitely something I would recommend taking because I had a very real-world experience and enjoyed it considerably.

Studying at UWA, not only opened doors for learning experiences in Australia from an education perspective but also on a professional basis too. Having classmates from diverse backgrounds and nationalities also means you get to start networking even before you step into the industry. All the better to kickstart your potential career!
